The Advanced course consists of five dives where we will learn the basics of five different diving environments. Little theory and many practice. It’s about diving, is not it?
There are two mandatory environments: deep diving and underwater orientation. Why? This is so because it would not be understood that a diver who calls himself “Advanced” does not have a minimum knowledge in underwater orientation and has never made a dive below 18 meters deep.
The other three environments are optional, and the student chooses them with their instructor, from a wide range, such as: improvement of buoyancy, diving in currents, night diving, search and recovery, nitrox, dry suit, identification of fish or underwater photography, among others.

WHAT DOES NOT INCLUDE:
It is not included in the course the diving insurance that Spanish law requires all certified divers to have nor a mandatory medical certificate, stating that the diver “IS SUITABLE for the practice of scuba diving”. If you choose Nitrox as one of your dives, you should bear in mind that the Nitrox Diver certification is not included in the price. If you would like to obtain the Nitrox Diver certification, you will be charged a supplement that includes the Nitrox study kit and certification fees. Contact us before starting your course if this is your idea. The requirements to access this course are simply to have the Open Water Diver certification. If you have not dived for a while, we recommend you to do a couple of dives before, otherwise the first immersions of the course you will not take advantage of because you will be adapting to the environment and the equipment again.
